Adult ADHD testing and diagnosis
We find that for many adults, ADHD has been present for years but was never recognised. You may have heard yourself described as 'capable but inconsistent', 'bright but disorganised' or 'good under pressure but unable to keep routines going'.
ADHD symptoms in adults can also become more noticeable and harder to manage when life becomes more demanding. Altitude Mind Clinic provides adult ADHD assessment via telehealth, allowing you to remain in the privacy of your own supportive space. Our Clinical Psychologists and Psychiatrists work together and take the time to understand your symptoms, history, health and everyday challenges specific to you.
The ADHD evaluation and testing for ADHD in adults is conducted online for the convenience of patients across Australia.

What Does ADHD Look Like?
ADHD usually displays differently in adult men and women. Symptoms in women are commonly attributed to stress, anxiety, or simply 'having a lot on your plate.' Although ADHD does not look the same for everyone, here are some more commonly reported experiences.
ADHD in Women
- Feeling mentally exhausted from trying to stay organised.
- Struggling to hold attention or focus.
- An inner sense of restlessness without the physical hyperactivity.
- Difficulty focusing on quiet moments, often leading to procrastination or overthinking.
- Being labelled as 'daydreamy' or 'spacey' during childhood.
- Sleep disruption or difficulty falling asleep.
- Emotional negativity or dysregulation.
ADHD in Men
- Difficulty staying focused on tasks, especially those that seem boring.
- Impulsivity, such as interrupting conversations or acting without thinking.
- Hyperactivity or restlessness.
- Struggling with organisation, often feeling scattered or overwhelmed.
- Procrastination, lateness or poor time management.
Keep in mind that symptoms can display differently for everyone.
If these symptoms are relatable, request an inital consultation to discuss ADHD assessment.
